what's really important
just started reading this book about choices..hopefully it'll better help you guys face life :)it was talking about this conventional approach to making decisions
"Conventional understanding of God's will defines it as a specific pathway we should follow into the future. God knows what this pathway is, and he has laid it out for us to follow. Our responsibility is to discover this pathway -- God's plan for our lives."
the above describes the usual way we take when making seemingly important decisions.
However, "it focuses our attention on the supposedly important decisions concerning the future, not on little, seemingly unimportant decisions we make every day. For example, we think long and hard when we choose a college, a job or career, or a spouse. This makes good sense, considering how consequential these choices are. But we give little thought to how much TV we watch or how often we talk on the phone or how seldom we praise our children (parents for us maybe). Yet the little choices we make every day often have a cumulative effect for exceeding the significance of the big choices we occasionally make about the future."
i know that not many of us may be at the crossroads now, facing major decisions but i guess this passage actually reminds us to take note of the little decisions we make every day ba...and always remember that living a godly life is a day-to-day thing and it not only applies when it comes to THE decisions...
so, jia you jia you in making the choice every day to follow Him and do things Jesus would k? :)
it is His joy that we become more and more like Him every day :)

Hello ! Came across this verse today, and i think that we should all keep this in mind. No matter what obstacles we may come across, always remember that God will NEVER forsake you ! just wondering how we often lose ourselves in the multiple events around us and forget about what's actually the most important thing in life, our purpose in life, our meaning in life. it may not be simple to always refocus on the thing in life but try :) we're on the same path!!!
